• The 1-7/8" outside diameter thick-walled tempered aluminum tubing is sheathed in colorful, abrasion-resistant polyethylene tubing.
• 8' and longer oars have reinforced inner shafts for extra-duty strength.
• Rubber grips cushion the molded plastic handles.

This is a great option for your spare oar shaft. The bare shaft will sit clean and flush against your raft. This will reduce chafe, abrasion and marking of your rubber while keeping you safe and compliant with river regulations.

OAR SHAFT LENGTH: Composite oar shaft lengths are sized to the fully assembled overall length of the oar with a  27" oar blade attached, so if you want a 9' oar, order a 9' composite shaft.

With 30" Blades, the fully assembled measurements are 8'9" and 9'3"
