At Blackfoot River Outfitters, we’re stoked to help you hit the water — even if you don’t have your own setup yet. Before renting, please take a moment to review the following information so there are no surprises later.

Equipment and Pricing

Each rod and reel combo rents for $40 per day. Payment is due in full when you reserve your gear.

We’ll also keep a credit card on file in case of loss, theft, or damage during your rental period.

Rental Duration and Late Returns

Please return all rental gear by the end of your scheduled rental term.

If equipment is returned late, you’ll be charged an additional daily rate ($40/day) for each day it’s overdue.

If the equipment hasn’t been returned within 48 hours of your scheduled return time, it will be considered lost or stolen, and your card will be charged the full retail replacement value plus any accrued late fees.

Condition of Equipment

We maintain all our rental rods and reels in excellent condition. You’ll receive clean, functional gear ready to fish.

You’re responsible for returning it in the same condition. All equipment will be inspected when you bring it back.

If any part of the setup is damaged, lost, or rendered unusable, repair or replacement costs will apply:

• Rod repairs: $60
  
• Reel or line repairs: $40
  
• Full replacement: retail price of the item
  

Tips for a Smooth Rental

• Always handle rods and reels with care — especially when walking through brush, loading vehicles, or casting near rocks or gravel.
  
• Never put rods away wet; wipe them down to prevent damage.
  
• Let us know right away if there’s any problem with your gear during your rental period — we’re happy to help.
