For the angler that likes to take their time
Half-Day Walk/Wade Fly Fishing Trip. Our Walk / Wade fly fishing trips are designed to maximize your experience by matching two clients to one guide (a third client is an additional charge). We gear-up and head out to the water of your choice or that which the guide determines is fishing best. We have limited special use permits on the Lolo National Forest section of Rock Creek, access to some private water on Flint Creek in addition to hundreds of miles water on other local streams. Typical drive times range from ten minutes to about an hour.
On full day walk / wade excursions expect a hearty riverside lunch, refreshments and about 6-8 hours on the water. While on half days we provide light snacks and drinks during your 3-5 hours of fishing. Plus, on all walk / wade fly fishing trips you’ll gain plenty of local knowledge about the water, hatches and techniques.
