Big Platform. Bigger Possibilities.

Like every Strike model, the 14'6" is designed by John Herzer of Blackfoot River Outfitters and hand-built in the USA by SOTAR. The additional length and width of this model translate to enhanced stability, more interior room, and greater gear-hauling flexibility. Whether you're setting up with a traditional fishing frame or customizing for family floats, this raft adjusts easily to match your needs.

With a modular bench seat in the front bay, you can quickly convert the boat between a casting setup, a passenger-ready bench, or a foam-topped dry box for overnight packing. It's a true do-it-all platform for boaters who want one rig that covers all bases.

Low Profile. High Volume.

The 14'6" Strike shares the same low-profile, asymmetrical design as the rest of the lineup—just scaled up for more room and capacity:

  • Diminishing bow tubes maximize usable space while maintaining agility

  • Wide interior allows for spacious seating and open storage

  • Increased stern diameter provides extra flotation when fully loaded with passengers or gear

  • Flat, aerodynamic profile maintains excellent visibility and wind handling

  • Stable in heavy water, yet responsive enough for technical maneuvering

Durability That Goes the Distance

Built with SOTAR’s proprietary Rezcoat material, the Strike features a 40 oz., 100% urethane outer shell reinforced with a 1500 denier base fabric—delivering best-in-class resistance to abrasion, punctures, and wear. With welded seams and a multi-chamber design, the 14'6" is built for big trips and heavy use, season after season.

Ideal For:

  • Anglers with a full three-person crew

  • Families and recreational boaters who want room for kids, dogs, and gear

  • Overnight and multi-day trips where gear volume is a priority

  • Whitewater day trips with a fun-forward setup

  • Anyone who needs a high-capacity raft with true crossover performance

Key Features:

  • 10-Year Warranty from Sotar

  • Four Air Chambers in the main tube + floor chamber for safety

  • Self-Bailing Welded I-Beam Floor – Durable and secure

  • 6 Carry Handles for easy loading and lifting

  • 10 Exterior D-Rings for frame and rigging attachment

  • Patch Kit & Boat Bag included

The 14'6" Strike is the ultimate raft for those who fish, float, and camp with more—more people, more gear, more water. Built to be adapted, upgraded, and put to work, it’s the boat that covers every base on the river.

Amazing: Blackfoot Strike 14'6"

If, like me, you also love to do 5- to 7-day runs down lively rivers like the Middle Fork of the Salmon and the Yampa, bring lots of gear and toss in a couple good-sized dogs, the 14’6” is your boat. Even at a foot longer and half a foot wider, it absorbs ridiculous loads and tiptoes through tailouts. When you have to choose the lesser among evils in the caldron of Kitchen Sink, it has the guts to punch formidable holes. And when you just want to share a day of fishing with your buddies, it still handles like a dream.
