Hot-bead worms are a mainstay in our rivers all year long but especially in late winter and early spring. For reasons unknown to us the hot bead and red color is always better in colder water. Fish smaller/lighter sizes under a Skwala or double down under an indicator together with the tung jig rubber legs or TJ Hooker. For those of you unwilling to fish San Juan worms- keep riding that high horse and leave the catching up to us.
