Your dream Montana fly fishing trip to the Missoula area rivers is now only one click away. Our Montana Fly Fishing Package trips are designed to minimize your planning time while maximizing your fishing time! The trip experts at Blackfoot River Outfitters will arrange both your guide and hotel accommodations, now you can concentrate on packing your gear.
It’s no wonder why most anglers traveling to Missoula stay at hotels instead of vacation rentals or full service lodges. Simply, there is not a better, more economical way to fish the nearly 400 miles of floatable water surrounding Missoula. Due to our substantial volume of business with our award winning partner hotels, we negotiate a great year round rate and pass savings on to you.
If simple is what you desire – our Montana Fly Fishing Package Trip is for you!
Our fly fishing package trips start by your BRO guide picking you up at the hotel in the morning. We’ll load up your gear and head out to your river of choice or the water your guide decides will best meet your expectations. Those options are virtually endless affording varieties of float or walk and wade fishing or even enjoy three rivers in three days in order to really appreciate the areas’ distinctive angling. Typical drive times range from as little as 20 minutes to about an hour. During each day expect to gain plenty of local knowledge about the water, hatches and techniques in addition to a hearty riverside lunch, refreshments and about 6-8 hours on the water. Following the fishing day your guide drops you back at the hotel and hits the replay button for two more days.
What is Skwalapalooza?
Our Spring Skwalapalooza Package deal boast some of the best prices, and best FISHING, of the year! As water temperatures rise our resident trout are revived from their winter's rest and are eager to pack on the calories. Simultaneously, Skwala stoneflies are making their yearly emergence. This is a perfect storm of hungry, low-pressured fish, and abundant insects that creates some of the best dry fly fishing conditions of the year! If you don't mind spending your day in waders and a rain jacket this is the trip for you. You could be rewarded with EPIC fly fishing on some of Montana's most impressive trout waters.
